Syracuse Symposium is a semester-long intellectual and artistic festival celebrating interdisciplinary thinking, imagining, and creating, presented by The College of Arts and Sciences to the entire Syracuse community. This fall’s theme is “imagination.” An essential ingredient in human creativity, imagination facilitates the most fundamental processes of cognition, artistic expression, and invention. It empowers us to be empathetic and compassionate, and to envision futures worth seeking. This symposium explores the character and products of human imagination through a splendidly diverse array of lectures, performances, exhibits, and other special events.
